Technology - Students in Kindergarten–Grade 5 attend technology classes once a week. Students in Grades 6-8 attend technology classes two times per week. The computer lab, classrooms, and offices are networked and connected to the Internet. Computer programs and technology are continually updated. In our building we currently have:
- Computer Lab – 28 Computers (desktop)
- Two Smart Boards

- 5 Laptops
- 4 LCD Projectors
- At least 1 computer (desktop) in every classroom
- 5 Televisions with DVD/VCR
- Overhead Projectors
Information resources and technology are used across the curriculum to enhance instruction. Teachers utilize technology and information resources through online resources with text books, search engines, word processing, spreadsheet, data base, Office Suite, and Power Point. All projects and tools used for instruction are coordinated between the classroom teacher and the technology teacher.
The computer lab is available for student use every day and before school. Teachers work together to develop projects across the curriculum that challenge and enhance learning through technology. Skills such as: word processing, data base management, keyboarding, spreadsheet, presentation software skills, etc. that are taught in computer class are applied to other classroom experiences in the form of: researching and producing term papers, gathering and interpreting information and data, and creating computer generated projects.
