Music - In music students participate in a variety of activities including singing, playing instruments and movement. Recorder instruction beginning in grade 3, chime instruction beginning in grade 5, and handbell instruction beginning in grade 6 enable children to master a musical instrument. Singing in the choir, performing in the: Christmas Program, Spring Program, Art Show, and playing in the school band provide all students with an opportunity to express themselves creatively and to develop confidence in their abilities. An instrumental music program is offered to students who wish to play an instrument.
